Global warming is engaged !

The global warming, also called planetary temperature reheating, is a phenomenon of increase, on a worldwide scale and over several years, of the average temperature of the oceans and the atmosphere.
In the common meaning, this term has been applied to the climatic change observed for approximately twenty-five year.

The existence of global warming is supported by the scientific reports, written for the GIEC by more than 600 climatologists coming from all the countries and validated by the governments from all the countrie. This is not disputed absolutely any more in the scientific reviews.

The causes of the global warming are ascribable primarily to the human activity and in particular to the gas emissions. Only a small minority of scientists, who are often not climatologists, still disputed this before the report AR4 of the GIEC.

Report/ratio AR4 of February 2007 of the GIEC indicates that the effects comprise an increase in the drynesses amongst other things, torrential rains, rise in the level of the oceans, heat waves, cyclones violent one.
CO2 emitted today by the man will contribute to the reheating during more than one millenium. The atmospheric concentration of CO2 in 2005 exceeded by far the natural values of the last 650.000 years. In the same way for the concentration of methane.

Following report AR4 of the GIEC, approved by all the countries of which the USA, 46 countries were committed fighting against the countries which would not reduce their dangerous gas emissions.
The countries mainly concerned are the USA, Russia, India and China.

According to conclusions' of the intergovernmental Group of experts on the evolution of climate (GIEC) in his ratio of 2001 [3], the most probable cause of this global warming in second half of the XXe century would be “forcing anthropic”, i.e. the increase in the atmosphere of gases for purpose of greenhouse resulting from the human activity. It is expected that the global warming continues during XXIe century but the amplitude of this reheating is discussed.

According to the assumptions selected and models' employed, the forecasts for the 50 years to come go from 1,8 to 3,4 °C. The assumption of a bond between the average temperature of the sphere and the carbon dioxide rate in the atmosphere was formulated for the first time in 1894 by Svante Arrhenius

In 1979, at the time of the first world conference on the climate, is advanced for the first time on the international scene the possibility of an impact of the human activity on the climate.
The rather massive adhesion of certain scientists to this cause is recent, but a controversy exists in this medium as for the causes of this global warming.
Climatologists support indeed that the reheating observed is only the consequence of natural phenomena (such as the fluctuations of the solar activity and those of the terrestrial orbit).

This position is however strongly minority among the climatologists.
